Returns Policy

This document should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions page.

1.         Introduction

1.1     We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us.

1.2     We have created this policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

1.3     This policy applies to all of our customers, irrespective of their geographical location.

1.4     This policy applies to all orders submitted through our website or via telephone.

1.5     If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom, this document does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer (such as rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000) which are summarised below for your convenience. 

1.5.1   Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, consumers have a right to cancel any distance contract to purchase a product or products from us at any time within the period:

(a)      beginning upon the conclusion of the contract of sale under these terms and conditions; and

(b)      ending after a period of 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which you receive the product or products,

          subject to the limitations set out in this Section 1.5.

1.5.2  You will not have any right to cancel a contract as described in this Section 10 insofar as the contract relates to:

(a)      the supply of any products which constitute audio or video recordings or computer software which have been unsealed by you;

(b)      the supply of products the price of which is dependent upon fluctuations in financial markets which we cannot control;

(c)      the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines;

(d)      the supply of goods which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and

(e)      the supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

1.5.3  In order to cancel a contract on the basis described in this Section 10, you must give to us written notice of cancellation, which may be sent to the business address or email address specified on our website.

1.5.4  If you cancel a contract on the basis described in this Section 1.5, you must return the product or products to us.

1.5.5  If you cancel a contract on the basis described in this Section 1.5, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid, including the cost of sending the product or products to you; however, you will be responsible for paying the cost of returning the product or products to us.

1.5.6  If you cancel a contract on the basis described in this Section 1.5 and you do not return the product or products to us, we may recover the product or products and charge you for the costs we incur in doing so; similarly, if you return the product or products at our expense, we may pass that expense on to you.

1.5.7  We will usually refund money using the same method used to make the payment.

1.5.8  We will process the refund due to you as a result of a cancellation on the basis described in this Section 1.5 as soon as possible and, in any case, within the period of 30 days following the day we receive your valid notice of cancellation.

 

2.         Returns

2.1     If you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us and receive a refund in accordance with this policy if:

(a)      we receive the returned product within 14 days following the date of dispatch of the product to you;

(b)      the returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

(c)      you comply with the procedure set out in this policy in relation to the return of the product; and

(d)      none of the exclusions set out in this policy apply.

(e) the returned product is unused, folded/packaged as it was received by you, in its original unopened packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

3.         Returns procedure

3.1     In order to take advantage of your rights under this policy, you must contact us to obtain a return authorisation number, and then send the product to us with a covering note quoting that number.

3.2     Products returned under this policy must be sent by a reputable postal or courier method which, as a minimum, allows proof of delivery back to us.  We strongly recommend that you use a method that provides insurance to cover the full value of the item in case the product is damaged or lost in transit as the products remain your property until such time as we receive them, inspect them, and confirm that we are prepared to accept them back into stock.

3.4     You will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy.

4.         Exclusions

4.1     The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:

(a)      food, drink and any other products liable to deteriorate within the period of 1 month following dispatch;

(b)      DVDs, CDs and other audio or video or audio-visual recordings;

(c)      newspapers, periodicals, magazines or similar products;

(d)      toiletries and cosmetics;

(e)      any product made to your specification;

(f)      any product made to order;

(g)      any product personalised or adapted for you;

(h)      gift vouchers;

(i)       tickets for events or courses.

5.         Refunds

5.1     We will give you a refund for the price you paid to us in respect of any product properly returned by you in accordance with this policy.

5.2     We will not refund to you the original delivery charges relating to the returned product.

5.3     We will not refund to you any costs you incur in returning the product to us.

5.4     We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.  We can only refund card payments to the card from which the payment was originally taken.

5.5     We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days following the day we receive your returned product.

5.6 An administration charge of £15 will be deducted from the refund of larger items such as Tarps, Shelters etc. where time is required to open, inspect and repack such items.

6.         Improper returns

6.1     If you return a product in contravention of this policy, and you do not have any other legal right to a refund or exchange in respect of that product:

(a)      we will not refund the purchase price or exchange the product;

(b)      we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product; and

(c)      if we do not receive payment of such additional amount within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.
