Palaeolithic FlintKnapping Workshop with Will Lord

Walk in the footsteps of the first people in Britain by producing an acheulean flint hand axe, used as a butchery tool. These hand axes were made approximately 950,000 years ago by our Homo Heidelbergensis ancestor in Happisburgh North Norfolk.

The class comprises up to 8 students who will spend +/- 30 minutes by way of an introduction to the study material, then 90 minutes of axe making. 

Class Size: 8 Maximum

Duration: 2 hrs
